Post 3: Academic changes in 2022
The experience of being a FACQYF studient: a sincere review
When I started to study in the faculty of chemical and farmaceutical science in 2021 we were literally in a global pandemic due to COVID-19 so I didn't have the typical experience entering college, I wasn't able to come to the faculty durring several months because of the lockdown that wass afecting most of Chile, and all of my freshman year was online.
But the time went through and earlier this year we were called to go back to in-person classes, I was very excited actually because I had to change a lot of things in my life, but when the moment arrived and the fist few weeks of the semester started to past through, I realized that somethings in the faculty were pretty off.
I would have loved to know a few things before having to come everyday, for example that we don´t have good places to eat during lunch and always everything is full, I would love for here to have a large cafeteria with more tables, I also don't feel like the classrooms are the best for a learning enviroment and don't even get me started in the desks that are there.
On the academy side i also would like that the teachers would take more into account the advices of the studients who are taking the courses and also that we were able of taking some curses without the prerequisites that they demand to advance in the degree which is something that is not done in others universities, that and the overload of subject matter to study and assassements deteriorate the students too much and that makes that by the end of semester we all ended up totally exausted.
The desks are the worst! They are not comfortable at all :(
